Beaumont

Beaumont is situated in one of the most sought-after streets in Robertson. A separate section of the thatched roof house has been converted into a private guest suite.

In 1948, Paulie de Wet, owner of Zandvliet Wine Estate and Horse Breeding Stud at the time, had Beaumont built on an erf that had formed part of a farm that belonged to a family member, Wouter de Wet.  Since then the house has had only three owners. The spacious rooms still have the original Japanese beechwood floors, while in the modern bathroom, the teak window sills and frames were retained.
